The Adventures of Amarys and Indigo

In 2013 Amira, our founder, wrote and self-published a series of children's books, The Adventures of Amarys & Indigo. They are based on the real-life adventures, great and small, of her own children in and around their Island home. Her hope for the series is to add another voice to the multi-cultural chorus and offer children of mixed heritage, particularly those of African-American descent, an opportunity to see themselves in the pages of storybooks.

Representation matters.

You can see and purchase soft-cover editions through our online store. They are also available in soft-cover and digital editions on amazon.com and kobo.com

If you support the series, and our mission of representation, please consider becoming a supporting patron via the
Pateron website. For a monthly subscription starting at just $1, you will enable us to continue the series and gain access to behind the scenes posts, sneak peeks of new content, signed texts and more!
